All the Info about my Prints

All my prints are printed using Fotospeed paper.

Fotospeed papers produce exceptional quality results and these are just a sample of the papers I use.

Natural Soft Textured Bright White 315 is 100% cotton, fine art paper with a very gentle texture.  The paper’s bright white base and gentle texture lends itself towards landscape and portrait subjects and delivers a high D-MAX and wide colour gamut.  The paper is approved by the Fine Art Trade Guild and when used in conjunction with pigment inks will ensure a print life of more than 85 years.

Platinum Baryta 300 Signature Paper

Platinum Baryta 300 is 100% acid-free, Fine Art paper with a smooth unglazed gloss surface. A natural white base and state of the art micro-porous ink receiving layer delivers a high D-MAX (2.7) and wide colour gamut. Platinum Baryta 300 reveals delicate highlights and smooth transitions to shadows for both colour and B&W printing. The paper is approved by the Fine Art Trade Guild and when used in conjunction with pigment inks will ensure a print life of more than 85 years.

The paper I use is dependant on the photo I am going to print and which paper gives the best results for that photo.

Ink

We use Canon printers for producing my prints and we always print with genuine Canon Lucia Pro pigment inks.

The print size

The print sizes stated are the total size of the print plus a small border surrounding it, I also aim to size each print to match a frame size that is generally available from stores. However sizing in this way is not always practical as each photo has its own character and may need to be sized to show all the details within the original photo without the need to crop the image too much.

Shipping

I deliver my prints World Wide, a list of all countries where prints shipping is available is listed here (opens in new window), applicable shipping charges will apply.

Time scales

I aim to deliver prints within 7 days, and Framed Fine Art prints between 14 - 21 days, this is due to the building of the frame which is bespoke to you, if there are any delays I will be in touch with you.

Packaging

Prints can be supplied in postal tubes for larger sizes and for smaller sizes we prefer to send these flat packaged and sandwiched between two sheets of MDF, this means the print will arrive nice and flat, which way it is packaged will be dependant on the shipping destination.
